2023/2024 Tuition

Studio 100 operates based on the local school schedule with classes beginning in September culminating with an end of the year recital in mid-June.  Tuition rates are for the full season (September-June, including studio holidays), not by the number of classes in the month.  A full season of dance includes a minimum of 33 lessons.  Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.

  • 1 (45 minute class) = $75/month

  • 1 (60 minute class) = $80/month​​

  • Drop-in or trial class = $20

  • Private Lessons

    • 1 hour = $80​

    • 1/2 hour = $40




 

Studio 100 Policies

TUITION

  • Tuition is posted to accounts on the 25th of each month prior and due on the 1st of the month.  A $15 late fee will be applied to any account that is not rectified by the 5th of month.

ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEES

  • Annual registration fees ($25/dancer or $50/family) are due on August 15th of each year or upon registering for classes after August 15th.  Registration fees cover non-tuition essentials such as insurance, music licenses, studio communication, and administration.  

REFUNDS

  • Refunds are only issued when a class is cancelled due to low enrollment.

  • Refunds will not be given for missed classes due to illness, snow days, or personal commitments.  Make-up classes are encouraged if taken prior to March 1st.  

WITHDRAWAL FROM A CLASS

  • Written notice must be given a month prior in order to withdraw from a class.  

RESCHEDULING AND SUBSTITUTING

  • Studio 100 reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regular teacher is ill or otherwise unable to teach.  Studio 100 reserves the right to reschedule, combine classes, postpone, suspend, cancel due to low enrollment, or move to a distance learning platform.

ATTENDANCE

  • Regular attendance is vital to student progress and group choreography.  Please make every effort to attend each class.  Classes may be made up (if appropriate classes are available) by March 1st.  Classes missed after March 1st cannot be made up due to recital choreography taking place in each class.  Please report all absences via Absence Form at the bottom of the website.

  • In the event of a snow day, Studio 100 will schedule a make-up class prior to the end of the school year.  

END OF YEAR RECITAL

  • We will end each season with an end of year recital where all our dancers will show off all their hard work that they have put in during the year.  Participation in the recitals is highly recommended, but not mandatory.  The dates of the recital are TBD but will be announced December of each year.  If your dancer is planning on participating in the recital, all dress rehearsals are mandatory.

RECITAL COSTUMES

  • Every class will have a costume unless otherwise specified.  Students will be measured for costumes during classes.

  • A $25 costume deposit is due on November 30, 2023 and the remainder of the costume fee due is January 15, 2024. 

  • Costumes are non-refundable.  

  • If a costume does not fit, we are able to exchange it within one week of receiving it but there may be additional shipping/handling fees and/or limited availability.

LATE PICK UP 

  • Please make every effort to pick up your child on time.  The studio is closed once the last class of the night has ended and our staff are eager to get home to their families.  If a student exits the building, there will be no adult supervision.  Studio 100 staff is not responsible for the safety of the child once they exit the building.  

DRESS CODE

It is important that you dancer comes to each class dressed according to the dress codes below.  Leotards, tights, and appropriate shoes will be available at the front desk or can be ordered for you.

  • Ballet

    • Option 1 - Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in bun (black ballet skirt is optional)​​

    • Option 2 - White t-shirt, snug fitting black pants such as leggings, black ballet shoes, hair out of face

  • Jazz/Contemporary

    • Option 1 - Form fitting shirt, leggings or bike shorts, nude jazz shoes, hair pulled off of face

    • Option 2 - T-shirt, black jogger-style pants, nude jazz shoes, hair out of face

  • Tap

    • Option 1 - T-shirt, leggings, bike shorts, or loose fitting pants, tap shoes, hair pulled off of face

  • Hip Hop

    • Option 1 - T-shirt, leggings, bike shorts, or loose fitting pants, sneakers (clean and only worn indoors), hair pulled off of face

CONCUSSION PROTOCOL

Concussions can occur in daily activity as well as during any sport or recreational activities - including dance. Concussions can have immediate and long lasting effects on an individual. Therefore, all concussions are considered serious. It is essential that dancers and parents learn the signs and symptoms of concussion and what to do if a concussion occurs.  Click HERE for the full scope of our protocol.
